Biography

Shilpa Malik is the Managing Attorney at VisaNation Law Group PLLC. She focuses her practice on business immigration matters and understands that clients are looking for real-world advice to navigate the complex landscape of immigration law. In her role, Shilpa supports multinational, medium, and small-sized corporations across a variety of industries such as technology, finance, insurance, and healthcare, in their employment search for foreign nationals on both a temporary and permanent basis.

Prior to founding VisaNation Law Group PLLC, Shilpa worked as a Senior Immigration Attorney at distinguished law firms in the heart of New York City. Throughout her career spanning over 17 years, Shilpa has successfully maneuvered a diverse array of complex employment and family-based immigration cases and challenges, demonstrating her proficiency in all areas of immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

Beyond her legal work, Shilpa has actively engaged with the community, lending her voice and advocacy skills to various outreach programs. Her commitment to immigration law extended to her role as an advocate with the Immigrants Rights Clinic at the New York University School of Law.

Shilpa was born in India and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu. She also has a working knowledge of Tamil.
